Sunday Sketches: The Crowleys

Hello my Sunday friends. If you peruse my blog ever, on Weds. I said I wasn't going to be around here much cuz I said I was working hardcore on something, but I felt like sharing, so here are some of my sketches for what I'm working on. Some of the really light lines didn't show up that well and my scanner likes to add stripes to the right hand side of my images, but anyways say hello to the Crowley family (and a snack cake), if per chance you haven't met them before.
Go check out more Sunday Sketches!

Sneak Peak: The Crowley's and Friends

A sneak peek of what I've been working on. Last post you all met my friend Nita and a bit before that you met Charles P., well they are are also Sharonda Crowley's friends. They're in the same eighth grade class together. And last in my lineup up there, is Sharonda's sister Verona.
The Crowley's are getting a bit of an update, like Sharonda actually has hair now, instead of her just wearing her hoodie up.
So if I'm not around much it's cuz I'm working on Sharonda, Pete and the Rest of the Crowley Family. I'm about halfway done with the text and know pretty much all that happens, I just have to type it all out!

Book Cover Update Again

Can I say I love all my blog, Twitter and other friends who have been helping me with my book cover decision! It's fun getting all this input! Okay, so the winners from yesterday were these two below.

But then I made this one, thinking maybe having Sasha so large was like HELLO there's a giant girl's head, so she's still there, but just as a sticker on the bucket. Now the bucket is also directly related to my story, if you're going Okay, there's a bucket.
I'm thinking I've really taken a liking to this new cover, but then it seems each new cover I make is my favorite, but this one I feel is also more me (style wise).
