Hello all, today I have some new friends (see above). They're twins, unfortunately for the boy his sister is a bit taller than he his, but he is rockin the skinny jeans. The girl does have one claw like hand, but I'll be fixing that.
I broke through the bunny barrier for the day. All I've been drawing is bunnies, which I find great enjoyment in doing, but participating in PiBoIdMo and NaNoWriMo has my wheels a turning. I started writing their tale last night, it's an interesting one. This is also my art for the day for AEDM.

I like these new characters. The long boots, hair and stripey top make the girl look funky. And the boy's character is made different with the facial expression and hands in the pockets of that great jacket.
ReplyDeleteI want to know more about their story but I'm sure it's top secret at the moment. I shall look forward to it being published one day!

This totally shows you what I was thinking because it didn't register that these were twins (though maybe I should have because of my kids). I thought they were best friends, but that the one girl had short hair. Seriously, this is not a bad thing, I think I thought that because I have short short hair myself. Darling little people though, their faces are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteHeehee these are so sweet :)
ReplyDeleteMy 2 year old daughter saw identical twins for the first time the other day, they were both dressed identically too....she turned to me with a completely quizzical look and said "mummy, why there two of them ??!!"
:)
How CUTE:)! I'm a twin, so I think it's great that you drew a boy and a girl...and that they aren't dressed alike. My sister and I had to dress alike until the 7th grade...Mom said it was easier to just buy two of everything so we wouldn't fight, but I thought it sucked, lol
ReplyDeletevery nice! we know a lot of twins. great idea for a story!
ReplyDeleteGreat characters, really cute!
ReplyDeleteThey must be 12 years old, all the 12 year old girls are taller than the boy their age. So sweet!
ReplyDeletelove the line work in these
